Just echoing the above description of the t20 experience - the people who do best in securing biglaw 2L employment don’t exactly glide through a seamless school-sponsored OCI process. It involves a ton of networking, precruiting, early applications and strategy, especially if you want to leave SoCal or go to a very fancy firm like a DPW. Even if you want to do Big Law, at a T20 your chances are about 20-40% depending, and that's only based on last year's numbers, which were the highest in many years. By the time you graduate there could very well be a downturn and fewer people getting a big law job. So even if you wanted to, it's far from a guarantee. .
